The project aims to create a maternity center in Baghere, Southern Senegal, addressing the urgent need for better maternal and newborn health services. The center will use locally-sourced, reusable materials and feature eco-friendly construction techniques, including an innovative natural air purification system. It will also include an open-air
educational space for maternal health workshops, empowering local women and promoting preventive care. The design allows for future expansion to add birthing rooms, consultation areas, or a newborn nursery. By involving the community in construction and prioritizing sustainability, we aim to foster a sense of ownership and improve long-term maternal and newborn health in the region
